St. Urban Winery

St. Urban Winery opened the summer of 2006. They grow the grapes for their wine in their vineyard in Chilliwack, situated at the eastern end of the Fraser Valley with a view towards Mt. Cheam and Mt. Slesse. The owner (who is also the wine maker) grew up in the vineyards of Slovakia and makes wines in the traditional European style. Their white wine grape varieties include Kerner and Siegerebbe which are German Riesling hybrids, while our signature red wine is from the Hungarian Turan grape variety. Recent plantings include Pinot Noir, Marechal Foch and Gewurtztraminer. Vineyard and winery tours are available.
